To look back at a year in a whole, the word that keeps coming to mind is “restore.” Ryan recently did a sermon series (www.chelmsfordibiblechurch.com) called “Restore” and so that word continues to speak to me. We suffered the loss of both of Ryan’s parents in late 2016 and early 2017, in order to bounch back from that we needed to restore the joy of life and savor each wonderful moment God has blessed us with. As we tried to do that as a family, I also tried to do that for my clients. Photographing them in a way to honor their families and their love. I think I’ve succeed in this, therefore making 2017 an amazing year, despite its hardships and loss.
We were able to travel to new places and celebrate welcoming new family members to our crew this year through marriage. We took to family vacations as “just the five of us” and really cherished those times. We joined the pool club in town and made new friends and amazing summer memories. Our boys made us exceedingly proud countless times, but mostly with the start of “The Joy Crew” (www.facebook.com/joycrewboston) a non-profit organization that they collect and deliver lego sets for kids who are sick or in need. We’ve dontated almost 300 sets this year through the Joy Crew!!! Their personalities and skills are developing and I am constantly amazed at their comradery. They are a “band of brothers” and really love one another. Ryan and I celebrated 13 years of marriage this year and some how I keep falling more in love with him. I am forever grateful he’s mine and we’re side-by-side in this journey. I couldn’t do anything that I do without him and his support.
This Christmas we are feeling truly blessed and thankful. We have been restored and are excited to embark on a new year filled with excitement of growth and change.
