Next October Jessica and Mark will tie the knot in Connecticut. I met this darling couple while photographing her college roomie’s wedding (see here!) . I was so excited to hear from them just a few days after and start the plans to shoot their wedding. For their engagement session we met on a beautiful fall day, to explore a bit of the Blackstone Valley of Massachusetts. Jessica has confirmed she is not the “outdoorsy” type and I must admit, I can totally relate. But, we do things for the people we love – and she trekked a bit and soaked up the great outdoors for Mark this day. We were all in awe of the beautiful views in Blackstone Valley, MA.
The leaves were amazing and Lookout Rock‘s vantage point was unreal, but the real highlight was Jess & Mark! After hearing their love story and how they met (dating app #forthewin!), I knew they were definitely my “kind of people.” They told me that the app said they were 98% compatible – so they just HAD to meet for beers. And as Mark says, “90 beers later we’re still together!” I loved getting to know them and chatting all about work, vacations, baseball and theme parks. I know their wedding day will be so amazing and I’m excited to party along side them.
Jess and Mark, I wish you many more cheers, beers, and celebrations as your love continues to grow. I will see you next October!!!
