Oh what a beautiful day for family photos at Walden Pond in Concord, MA! Fall in the greater Boston area is best on days like these when I get to photograph a family like this. At the height of foliage and after a few days of rain the weather was absolutely perfect. I love to encourage clients to not “dismiss” weekdays during the fall, because the weather is so inconsistent. We often need to use a weekday afternoon to capture your session. This day was a warm, wonderful Thursday.
The Prilutsky family photo session at Walden Pond was absolutely wonderful. This Boston family escaped the city for the day and came to Walden Pond for their first ever family photo session. They are so playful in love, and not afraid to show it. These parents are cherishing the time with their little ladies while on mommy is on maternity leave. Baby Alissa is only 6 weeks old and she was so calm and sweet while her big sister ran around and played in the sunshine.
Walden Pond is one of Massachusetts most peaceful areas, even with toddlers. There is something very serene and gorgeous about this spot and I love capturing fall family photos here. As the sunlight flickered through the trees we were all laughing constantly at sweet Anna while she explored. I cannot wait to see this family again as their children grow and visit more beautiful locations in Massachusetts!
