It is no secret that I love shooting in Boston. This city has an amazing vibe, and even when crowded with people, there are so many beautiful options for photos at the Public Garden, side streets, and hundreds of other spots. I knew September was the ideal time for these sessions. It was warm, but not humid, and a totally wonderful experience photographing five fun families.
I would love to share the whole gallery from each, but these unique shots from each session show the amazing variety of Boston Public Garden and why I love to shoot there (even in the rain!).

THE BARTH FAMILY // This was our third session together. These Boston-sports fans were coming into the city for a baseball game but stopped off for some photos first. They were amazing troopers even when a “sun-shower” rained on us during their session.
THE PORTNEY FAMILY // I absolutely haven’t laughed this hard with kiddos in a while! These little guys were a blast! At five years old they are all energy and fun, but also very sweet. Their “wrestling match” at the end has given me my favorite photo of the season so far!
THE SIMMONS FAMILY // I continued to call these boys “ The Professionals.” They know when to turn it on for the camera. This was my second session with the Simmons bunch and there is no shame in bribing your kiddos with chocolate – it works!
THE DIMARINO FAMILY // Sweet little Olly melted my heart with her perfect pink dress, love for Minnie Mouse, and high pitched giggle. Kelly and Paul were engaged in the Public Garden years ago and were looking forward to doing photos here with their family. The golden light was totally dreamy!
THE FLETCHER GIRLS // Tara and Abby were silly goofballs! Abby is 7 and has all the personality one little body can hold. It was more fun to go with it than reign her in. The sunset during their session cast a beautiful pink hue that made these ladies glow with joy! I can’t say enough about the bond these two have – BEAUTIFUL!
