Boston University Castle Wedding
Steve and Yuxuan were wed on the warmest day of July in a fairytale style! This sweet couple has a beautiful love story that spans an ocean. They chose to do their “American” wedding at the Boston University Castle, on the campus of BU in the heart of Boston. This iconic structure is home to many gorgeous and classy events in the Boston area, and now will forever be remembered by them as the spot where they said, “I do!”
I love all the shimmery details that Yuxuan chose to bring her wedding look together. Her dress was so unique with appliqué floral pattern and lace up back. Her hand stitched veil was stunning, but the shoes, crown, and beautiful heirloom ring from Steve’s grandmother were the real shining stars! After their lovely ceremony they hosted a beautiful reception at the castle for friends and family members, including some after party “Boston” snacks like Fenway Franks and Lobster Rolls. This day was certainly all “them” and a whole lot of fun. I was so impressed that they chose to do some photos outdoors, even in the excruciating heat. The weather was almost 100 degrees, but thankfully there was air-conditioning to keep us cool between photos.
