This vacation was 2.5 years in the making! Ever since our last trip to Cancun, we couldn’t wait to go back. Is it for the rest and relaxation? Is it for the break from our children? Is it for the sunshine and awesome weather? Is it for the good company? YES – all those things, but mostly …for the food!
Kinda not kidding, but really – all those things and more made this trip a very memorable one. Ryan and I were lucky enough to travel alongside my sister and brother in law again. We shared so many laughs and a lot of crazy moments that we’ll never forget! Another blog post filled with some beautiful anniversary portraits of Nan & Brian will be coming soon!
Here is a glimpse at our week at The Riu Palace Peninsula, Cancun. It is an all-inclusive resort and has so many great amenities. We loved it! It was conveniently nextdoor to The Riu Caribe where we could also eat and play ( the pools were less crowded and super warm!) and rigth dear downtown and not far from the aiport. Our balcony room had great views of the ocean and we woke up to palm trees and fresh breezes…it was perfection.

Also a few pictures from Xel-Ha – an all inclusive day trip to an amazing river! There was biking, snorkeling, ropes course, ziplines and most amazing fresh mexican food! We loved this place!!!
Our last night, so sad to leave but happy to go home refreshed and ready for a fun summer ahead!
