Jenna and Brian’s Boston wedding was perfectly spring and an absolutely awesome celebration of love.The toasts during the reception all eluded to the fact that they are a perfect compliment to one another. This day was much anticipated!! Both sides of the family couldn’t be happier to be joined by this couple. Brian and Jenna love their families and it is evident. Their nephews and nieces were part of the wedding party, their siblings were their best men and matron of honor, and their parents were right by their sides for all of the action.
My second photographer, Sarah, and I met up with the couple at the Ames Hotel, with a gorgeous view of the city and the Old State House. The Bridal Suite was a buzz of excitement. Jenna’s bridesmaids were so excited to see her get in her gown and were cheering her on as all the details came together! The guys took a walk through Quincy Market, and “the Haymarket” as they made their way to the North End for their ceremony.
The Catholic ceremony was held at St. Leonard’s church in Boston’s historic North End. This stunning church was such a perfect backdrop as these two exchanged their vows, rings and finally said, ‘I do!” The crowd cheered as they were announced husband and wife! With a “fist pump” they exited as the newest Mr. and Mrs. Durkin!
Even though it was a little chilly that day, we were so thankful for clear skies and did photos at the famous Christopher Columbus Park and in the North End. The blossoming trees and city scape made for a beautiful scene as we clicked away with this happy crew. Never have I had families so organized and prepped for photos, this crew was on point!
Jenna and Brian’s reception was held at The State Room, a venue known for its beautiful windows and high rise views of the city of Boston. The dancing began during cocktail hour and only stopped for heartfelt speeches and a delicious dinner! This truly was a perfect wedding day.
