“Save the Date” Session // New Hampshire Wedding Photographer

February 16, 2018

When people ask me what my favorite part of my job it, it always comes back to the people. It is the connections and relationships I build with my clients who become my friends. I am so thankful to get to see a couple’s relationship grow from engaged, to married, anniversary sessions, and someday watch their family grow.
I have started offering “Save the Date” sessions for my brides and grooms. Long engagements are becoming more popular, as are “Save the Date” cards. These are fun sessions where we get to know one another, capture a few adorable photos just for the their “Save the Dates” and chat more about their wedding photography.
I am just now sharing these images because I’m a little “old fashioned.” I love getting snail mail. I love being surprised and getting an adorable “Save the Date” card is just a perfect excuse to send mail to those you love. I often hold on to these images until after the bride and groom have sent out their cards, as to not spoil the surprise.
Allison and Johnny brought their pups along, a few cute signs, and lots of laughter for their “Save the Date” Session. It was the foundation of our year of photography together. You can see their full engagement session and beautiful Tumbledown Farms Wedding on the blog, too.
ENJOY!
