I met Sara & Matt during their engagement session last winter. They were embarking on such an exciting time of their lives. They had just bought a house, got engaged, and are blending their families together. These two were so in love and couldn’t stop talking about the plans for their October wedding. Fast forward a few months, and the weather was very similiar, except there was no snow on the ground!
The blustery cold air was whipping around, but the barn was nice and cozy as Sara and Matt said, “I do” and vowed to raise their family as ONE.
Their little girls walked Sara down the aisle and it was such a sweet moment! Makinley and Chloe were woven into the whole ceremony and even received special necklaces from Mom and Dad as a symbol of their commitment. A highlight for me is to hear the personal vows that couples write to one another. You could tell they were a perfect match when Sara and Matt’s promises to one another were almost identical, including some serious and some silly remarks! As Sara and Matt sealed their union with a kiss both girls ran and up hugged them! It was adorable.
We snuck outdoors for some photos and the sunshine made up for the cold winds! The party started and was brought to life by some sweet little girls in pink tutus!
A dream shot for Sara was a night time photo in front of the barn. This country, plaid, and rustic loving girl got her dream and it’s also one of my favorite photos of the year!
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Skibba, I had a blast getting to know you and witnessing your special day!
