An ideal summer day with warm sun and light breezes, accompanied by laughter and excitement was how I’ll always remember Bridget and Patrick’s wedding day.
Patrick and Bridget both prepped for the day in their family homes and everyone was swirling with happiness. Then they headed to church for a classic ceremony that highlighted their love of faith, family, and one another. In a roar of applause they were announced husband and wife and headed to The Barn at Gibbet Hill for a classy and fun reception.
During photos this couple told me how exactly two years prior they sat at the restaurant and overlooked the rolling hills at Gibbet Hill dreaming of what their day may be like. They knew this venue was perfect for them and it all turned out even more amazing then they could have expected.
For a few moments of peace the couple took a little walk to the top of Gibbet Hill, to Bancroft’s castle. This spot is so special and serene. We almost forgot about the hustle and bustle that was happening just down the hill. Bridget and Patrick were plastered with smiles the entire time we were doing photos, a serious shot wasn’t even an option, because no matter what this bride wasn’t going to stop beaming!
After their entrance at the reception, Patrick surprised his Irish-Step dancing wife with his own take on Irish Step! He had been working on it for months in secret with the help of Bridget’s siblings and the crowd went wild!!!!! Bridget owns Murphy Academy of Irish Dance and was completely floored when Pat started stepping! From that point the fun never stopped. From sweet toasts to emotional parent dances, this was a dream wedding through and through.
Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Moseley, I wish you the best and hope to see you in the future as your love story continues to unfold.
