Have you dreamed of perfect family photos at the beach? I think most parents have. We see how much joy the beach brings our little ones, and the scenery is the best in New England and want photos there. I never pass up a chance to see a family on the seacoast, these sessions area always my favorite.
The “S Family” met me at Hampton Beach in Hampton, New Hampshire for their annual session. They brought along their newest member, who I hadn’t met yet. She was so happy and a total ham for this photo session. Even though it was a bit chilly this evening, the kids couldn’t resist a little splash in the cool waters of Hampton Beach. New Hampshire has beautiful sights, but chilly ocean waters. I find that most clients can barely stand it except in the heat of July & August.
I think this session could serve as a “What to Wear at the Beach” family photo example. The outfits were perfect. The colors were the exact right tones for the beach and accompanied each other well. The mix of coordination and matching was spot on. If you’re hoping to style your family at the beach (or anywhere) I always recommend starting with what “Mom” is going to wear. That is the hardest component…after that it’s easy to find kids and men’s clothing to coordinate.
