“Ask Allie : What is the difference between a mini session & portrait session?
Answer: A mini session is a 20-30 minute session that takes place on a date & time & location in the greater Boston area set by Allie.Photo.
A portrait session is a 60-90 minute custom photography session that takes place on a date & time coordinated by the client, at a location of your choosing anywhere in Massachusetts, Southern New Hampshire, and beyond (travel fees may apply).
MINI SESSIONS: We get a lot of images during this time, about 40-50 for you to choose from, and your collection includes 10 final images for $250. You can choose to order additional images at the time if you want, $20 each or the whole collection for $200 extra.
Mini sessions are scheduled “back to back” so you only have your time slot, and you must not be late to take full advanage of the session.
Mini sessions are paid in full in advance because of their popularity, so be sure you’re free on the scheduled date & the rain date when booking.
Remember: These sessions are reserved for one family group at a time, and if you want to bring other family members, or friends please consider booking two “back to back” sessions or a portrait session.
PORTRAIT SESSION: The session is about an hour and we can use locations that have a lot of variations, so you get more options to choose from. This also allows for more time if a child is cranky, needs a break, or a snack, etc. The session is $400 and includes 20 digital files of your choice after you review your gallery of 70-100 images. The whole collection is an additional $200 if you’d like it, like above.
Travel 20 miles from Chelmsford, Massachusetts is included in the price and we can pick a spot that is sentimental to you, do them at your home, or If you need help choosing a location, I am more than happy to collaborate with you to do so, based on your style.
Portrait sessions are a bit more relaxed and allows us to get to know one another, while you’re easing into being photographed!
