Abbie and Morgan had an intimate family affair in celebration of their marriage at Atkinson Country Club this August. We were all shocked that the weather was in the high 60’s the morning of their wedding, and never rose about 75. Â It was so pleasant and provided the best atmosphere for their outdoor ceremony, during which the couple shared sweet personal vows.
Morgan was beaming while Abbie walked down the aisle and he didn’t even need to write his vows down. He knew exactly what to say about how he feels about his new wife. Abbie’s brother officiated, and took it “very seriously”, as you’ll see below hahaha.
These two met while serving our country in the United State Marine Corp. They have both love their pets, weight lifting, and one another. After getting to know them a bit on their day, I can tell they are certainly a perfect match! I loved their approach to this wedding – totally laid back and relaxed. They left the details to the professionals and sat back to enjoy their day with those closest to them. It was a very chill vibe all day, as these two laughed, dancing and soaked in the joy.
During the reception there were considerate toasts as well as a song written by Abbie’s Maid of Honor commemorating their friendship. I cried…it totally got me and a few others in the room as well. The dance floor was packed and the photo booth was rocking…for a small crew, they certainly made a rukus and had a blast!
Congrats Abbie and Morgan – I wish you the best and am excited to see your love story grow.
