On a rainy October day I met this family for at-home newborn photos of their baby boy! Finn was 8 days old for these photos and as soon as we gave him the spotlight he was wide awake, not wanting to miss a thing. While cuddled in mommy and daddy’s arms, he was out like a light, so I took advantage of that. At just around 7 pounds he was easy to wrap up and loved being swaddled. We took most of our photos in their master bedroom and then moved to Finn’s room.
Finn had the cutest nursery. I love how much attention to detail these parents put into it while waiting for their little man to arrive. “So, our adventure begins!” Is a great reminder on a nursery wall during those sleepless nights and long feedings. It is true that a baby is one of the greatest adventures we can embark on. Finn – welcome to the world, your adventure is just beginning and you’re so loved!
