Erica and Andrew chose to do beach engagement photos in Maine for this special session. This couple enjoys spending time in Wells Maine throughout the summer. Drake’s Island is their stomping ground and the perfect place for them to enjoy with their puppy, Lucy. She was the life of the party and kept us all laughing and having fun.
For these beach engagement photos we were lucky enough to get golden light and a beautiful sunset. I was warned that Andrew hasn’t “been in this many photos his whole life.” Well, we changed that in one evening. He was a great sport and their connection was laid back, cool, and sweet just like they are.
In true, Beach-Lover fashion Erica and Andrew be getting married along the coast next summer. I look forward to celebrating with them and hope to see Lucy again, too!
Beach Engagement Photos In Maine
Even though it looks warm in these photos, it was only about 70 and the water was freezing. We all had some cold toes after attempting some of these shots, but I’d say it was totally worth it! If you’re planning a beach session always bring a coat or sweater to throw on and warm up. The wind can be chilly and the weather most certainly always is, no matter what season.
