I first met Kyle through a string of text messages from an excited groom-to-be who was asking if I would photograph his proposal to the love of his life, Kristen. We had a plan and were going to make it happen, rain or shine. Well…it did rain and was freezing cold, so we made a change up. I met him at their home and waited in the shadows while Kristen came home, to the best surprise of her life. It was such a sweet moment and I knew from all of our conversations and interactions I was going to fall in love with this “love story.” I am so thankful I get to photograph them for all these monumental moments!

For their formal Engagement Photos we met at the Public Garden in Boston and walked to the Charles River esplanade for sunset. Though they are both from New Hampshire they met in Boston. This city means a lot to them and so it provided the most beautiful backdrop for their engagement session.
I love when we start photos and a couple tries to convince me that they are “awkward” and “not photogenic.” That was entirely NOT TRUE and they both rocked this whole session. Every shot was a win and I could barely choose what to show here. Right away you can Kyle and Kristen are so totally in love and enjoy being together. They definitely know how to make things fun! They are a wonderful compliment to one another and are excitedly planning their 2020 wedding. I will be right there, photographing all the magic and making sure Kyle stays calm, just like on the proposal day…it’s basically my job now.
