LeighAnn and Nate had the most amazing Boston wedding at the Marliave Restaurant to celebrate their love and commitment to one another. For a couple who is newer to this city, they wanted to celebrate and enjoy all that Boston has to offer and introduce their friends and family to their new home. LeighAnn had a beautiful vision for her day and it truly came to life at the Marliave on one of September’s most gorgeous Saturdays!
LeighAnn began her day at the Beacon XV hotel, prepping and enjoying time with her best friend while Nate got ready at the Boston Park Plaza. As the bride and groom each made their way to meet one another at the altar, we were able to enjoy the beautiful city of Boston! LeighAnn and I started on the rooftop of Beacon XV, for a stunning view of the skyline and this bride! She was a real life angel and so much fun to work with and get to know throughout this process. We strolled through Beacon Hill and she was proposed to by strangers numerous times, and cheered on by tourists which only calmed her nerves and helped build excitement.
Nate, together with his family and my awesome second photographer, walked to the venue and waited for his bride to come down the aisle at the Marliave. When looking for a location in Boston for your wedding, The Marliave Restaurant is the perfect for an intimate affair. LeighAnn and Nate’s guest list included mostly out of town friends and family members. The city views, food and drinks were amazing!!! Right outside the electricity of Boston’s “downtown crossing” was a buzz as this couple exchanged vows, laughter, and a kiss to seal the deal!
Their wedding ceremony was so special including a custom “love story” by their officiant, and poems read by both of their mothers. They also wrote their own vows, and passed the rings through the congregation to “warm” them with thoughts and prayers. Afterward we started a photo tour of Boston, visiting the Old State House, The Public Garden, Beacon Hill, and The “new” State House and Beacon XV’s rooftop patio before returning to an awesome party!
