The Schiffer family met me at Sholan Farms for a fall family session in Leominster, MA. This location has a stunning overlook of foliage. At this time of year, it was just past peek, showing off a lot of rusty colors just behind the apple trees.
It had been a few years since I photographed this happy bunch, and what better time than 2020. When families have more time together than they know what to do with – why not have a fall photo session! Some simple coordinating outfits, a little hairspray, and some cute shoes and this crew was ready.
After our time together I got this note from the mother,
“Thank you once again for capturing great pictures and joyful moments, especially in a year that has been hard to capture joyful moments. Looking at these pictures makes me feel good and hopeful that in all this we are okay.”
That quote right there is exactly how I wanted all my families to feel when they left their session. A photo session can be a bright and happy time, helping you focus on family and ignore the new, media, and world around you.
