I love meeting new Chelmsford families looking for lifestyle newborn photography. This couple welcomed their little boy into the world, Emmett Sterling! Two weeks before his due date, Emmett decided it was time to meet his mom, dad, and dog, too! He is healthy and adorable and more than Lisa and Justin could have ever imagined. I loved chatting about their plans for this little one during their maternity session (see here!) and I couldn’t’ wait to hear his name and get to meet him.
Lifestyle newborn photos always bring some new challenges, between lighting and babies schedules, there are a lot of factors. When I entered their home both parents told me, “Well…he doesn’t want to sleep and he’s been crying a while. Good luck!” I just laughed, because that’s real life. More often than not babies are NOT on our schedules. They are doing their own thing and we just have to roll with it and learn with them. In a matter of moments this little guy was swaddled up and asleep, for the duration of our time together. We did photos in Emmett’s airplane nursery and it was was the cutest little space. He was exhausted PERFECTION and it was a real treat seeing these new parents interact with their newborn baby boy.
