Maddy’s delicious first birthday photo shoot was one of my favorites last summer! This little lady has so much spunk, pizzazz, and attitude. It was only fitting that her birthday was full of bright, sugary, sweetness and that she was able to have a blast destroying some donuts.
I was totally giddy over the pink and sprinkles, and all the perfect accents Maddy’s mom designed for this session. Before we dove into donuts we captured some cute photos of the family. When I walked into their home I was expecting a pudgy little baby, instead I was welcomed by a very confident running “pre-toddler”! Maddy, while sucking a bottle, walked around the house like she was in charge and was giggling and laughing the whole time. What a warm welcome!!!! I couldn’t wait to photograph her adorable smile and expressive eyes.
In a year a little one changes so much and taking the time to photograph these milestones is such an important part of telling your family story. The walls and shelves of your home will be filled with these memories, and you can never get them back.
