Lauryn and Michael’s spring wedding celebration at Manchester Country Club after a beautiful ceremony at St. Mary’s in Chelmsford, MA was totally worth waiting an extra 161 days for! After postponing their original wedding, it was time to party with their family and friends and I was so honored to be their wedding photographer.
In true New England fashion, the weather made its way from winter to summer all in one day! We started off with a chilly morning. There was snow left over from the day before still on the ground as the couple prepped for their wedding day.
The Ceremony
The anticipation was building as Lauryn arrived at St. Mary’s church in Chelmsford, MA. There is nothing quite like the “hustle and bustle” leading up to the moments the bride and groom see one another for the first time, it’s probably my favorite part of being a wedding photographer. As her dad escorted her into the church there were many sniffles and a lot of excitement! After mass Mike and Lauryn excited the church and the sun was out – it felt like spring! The guests were all so joyful and happy to see this couple finally become Mr. and Mrs. Kilbride!
Reception at Manchester Country Club
We all headed to Manchester Country Club in Bedford, NH for photos and a fun reception! Again, the weather changed and after portraits, the sun came out and everyone took off their jackets to enjoy a warm cocktail hour outdoors on the terrace. This day just kept getting better and better! Mike and Lauryn shared a beautiful first dance. Then listened to hilarious and loving toasts from their friends and family members. It was followed by a delicious meal and more dancing.
April 17, 2021 truly was a beautiful and wonderful celebration of the love this couple shares. Congrats again, Mr. and Mrs. Kilbride and I wish you best as you continue your love story.
