I am beyond excited to share these images with you! Gary and Iesha are two of the most authentic people I have met on my photography journey. They are building a beautiful family together and I have been so lucky to capture many of these precious moments of their lives. From their engagement photos, wedding, and Jaxon’s portraits – now maternity photos in honor of their growing family.
Wingearsheek Beach in Gloucester is one of my most favorite beaches to photograph at because of its beautiful wide open water and low tide. If you have never been to this serene Massachusetts beach, I highly recommend a visit. Let me clarify, though – visit during the week (Monday – Thursday if possible) and get there plenty early, or extra late. This beautiful, amost private, beach’s parking lot fills quickly and they often turn cars away on busy weekends and Fridays. I sadly have been turned away myself, but thankfully evenings are usually quite and the parking fee is waived after 6 p.m. Not only is the tide low and you can walk for long lenghts, but the sand is the softest around and the rocks are beautiful. They hold all sorts of treasures; little crabs, sea snails, and plenty of sand dollars.
But, no matter what – my favorite thing to do at a beach is photograph happy people. The Martinez’s are certainly that – and so easy to photograph. They exude joy and Jaxon is a big reason for that. This little man is absolutly PERFECT! He is a real pro and wonderful at posing and listening to direction, making my job a blast! We started at the rocks and ended on the edge of an “infinity pool” of still waters – all on a 75 degree summery evening. Scroll through and feel the warmth and love between this family – ENJOY!
