I travelled to Conneticut this week to capture Mel & Brendan’s engagment session. Though she’s from Massachusetts, Mel has lived in CT for a while and is planning a beautiful summer wedding at Allen Hill Farm.
We met in E. Haddam, CT at the beautiful Eagle Landing Park for photos with their pup Mia in honor of their engagement. I loved photographing somewhere new and this quaint New England town had a lot of charm. This park was right on the Conneticut River. While photographing we even got some friendly “marriage advice” from an onlooking fisherman.
After photos there we moved on to the historic Gillette Castle and though it had been an overcast day the sun came out to show off and give us a warm and golden sunset! Mel and Brendan were totally adorable together and are definitely great friends and have created a wonderful realtionship together. I am so excited for them and all the fun milestones that will happen leading up to the wedding.
Though we had to leave the state park, as we drove home we stopped on the side of the road to capture this sunset before it left us! WOW! What a perfect ending to an amazing night. Congrats Mel & Brendan!!!
