Ashley and Jacob are finally married!!!!! From their high school first dates to their first dance as Mr. and Mrs. Rosenberg this couple has been through so much and grown in love more and more over the years. When she walked down the aisle to him, his face said it all!! Their dream of a perfect wedding day came true on October 6th at Black Swan Country Club. It was all things fall, all things “love”, and all things family.
I met up with Ashley as she was getting the final touches together for her big day, in her childhood home. There was such a fun buzz of excitement and all the emotions started to begin! Ashley couldn’t have had a bigger smile on her face the minute she greeted me outside her door, but that grin only grew as the day went on. I loved seeing the close connection she has with her family. Her parents were seeing their first daughter get married and her younger sister, and best friend, was her maid of honor. Throughout the day they shared many special moments, from a first-look with dad, father-daughter dance, heartfelt toasts, and family dance at the end of the night. Family is such a gift!
Jake and his groomsmen met us at Black Swan for photos in anticipation of the big day! He was cool as a cucumber, not getting nervous or emotional. He was just READY! After the beautiful ceremony, which blended Jacob’s Jewish faith and Ashley’s Christian faith, I asked him what he thought of his bride. He said, “She is amazing!”
You got that right!!! This lovely bride was stunning and amazing! Her custom gown was one of a kind and perfect for her. She rocked some tall red shoes to reach up to her new husband and her auburn hair made every fall detail pop! I loved seeing how Ashley styled her whole day around everything she loves; Jake, fall, family and friends!
To put it simply – this wedding was a joy! To see two people who once had gone to prom together grow up into amazing adults who still love to laugh, dance, and play together reminds us why love is worth finding and holding on to!
