Isn’t spring so beautiful when the blossoms are blooming and the signs of winter have all gone away? What better way to celebrate than with an outdoor cake smash for a special little girl. I first photographed her when she was just a few days old (see that blog post here!). We all knew she would be a sweetheart but didn’t know she would be a cake smashing machine!
Lyla’s outdoor cake smash was absolutely adorable amongst the blossoming trees. She and her big sister enjoyed some cake and playtime with mommy and daddy. When planning a spring shoot you have to be a bit flexible with lighting, time of day, weather, and keep a close watch on the blossoms. This cake smash session hit all of those perfectly! Of course Lyla and Maddie’s mom styled them adorably and brought some cute cake smash details to make it extra special.
