WELCOME TO THE WORLD, LOGAN!!
Logan’s outdoor newborn photos were on a perfect warm summer night. It’s no surprise that new babies love to be cozy and warm, so this little guy was in his element. He was born right during quarantine, but was still small and cuddly enough for family photos outdoors a few weeks later. Logan was passed out, passed around, and loved on while I captured it all.
His big brother Connor loved showing me around his yard, and was so much fun to photograph. He gave the biggest smiles and was certainly very excited to share his brother with me. While outdoors Connor was able to run around and get some energy out between photos, then came back ready for action. He changed into a BIG BROTHER shirt and was very proud to show off his new title.
When planning for outdoor newborn photos having a coordinating blanket, burp cloths and a diaper changing station handy is key! In this case the family’s backyard had an old shed and I couldn’t help myself but take some “vintage” inspired shots of little Logan. The shed was a great background. Sarah laughed at the idea, but now I’m sure these are some of our favorites from the session. What you may see as a “eye sore” I may see as a custom backdrop.
