As a Boymom I am called upon at any moment to “be Captain America!” or asked to “Hold this lightsaber, I have to go pee!” I love my boys and all the litle manly obsessions they have. From playing football outside, even if its freezing, to watching the same Teen Titans Go! episode for the 100th time; they are total “guys, guys.” A weekly tradition for them to share with their father is a trip to the comic book store. Ryan has been a HUGE comic book fan since about age three, and has a massive collection of books. My boys have inherited his love for comics and its the norm every Wednesday to head to Larry’s Comics in Lowell for new books. Yes – new comics come out every week. Yes – there are hundreds of new titles weekly. No – they aren’t 25cents each anymore! I know more than necessary about how many infinite earths exist, how many “civil wars” there have been, and how many Batmans have actualy existed (Hint: Bruce Wayne isn’t the only one! :)) – and I wouldn’t change any of it beacuse if they love comics – I love comics.
