Stephanie & Mark’s springtime wedding at Tewksbury Country Club was gorgeous! This couple (see their engagement photos here) had such an amazing group of friends and family members surrounding them as they tied the knot with so much emotion and excitement. Stephanie and Mark chose to stick to a few traditions including getting ready in their family homes and not seeing one another until the moment she walked down the aisle. When she did, Mark was beaming with so much love and let out the biggest sigh – he was ready to become her husband and it was so sweet!
A few tears were shed in joy and then the crowd erupted in applause as they kissed, and kissed….and kissed again becoming husband and wife!
This bride and groom was blessed with a seasonably warm day (for New England “warm”.) The sun was shining and thanks to all the happiness no one felt the chill in the air. The bridesmaids and groomsmen were so much fun – and maybe a little bit crazy, too!!! As I was shooting I remember thinking, “This wedding is going to look like it happened in summertime!” The radiance of the couple and the glow of the sun was an added bonus to making their portraits extra special. I love how they chose to incorporate the American flag into their photos. Mark has served in the Marines and now is a police officer. His service to our country was certainly honored that day, and in these timeless photos.
