While on vacation from Oregon this family chose me to photograph them in my lovely city! I couldn’t have been happier to show them around some of my favorite areas and capture these timeless memories for this very sweet bunch. Alisha, the mother, reached out for these pictures and was very reminicent of her time in Boston as a young adult. She loved bringing her children here and introducing them to some wonderful places she enjoyed many years ago.
I couldn’t have asked for a better crew to photograph that evening. You may or may not be able to tell, but it was VERY windy….like SUPER WINDY that evening. SOOOO WINDY! ( I had to just say that again)…and they were smiling through it all, enjoying the process.
We started at the Make Way for Duckings statue, and I was pleasantly surprised to have very few people in line while we wanted to capture these classic shots of the children. After strolling by the famous willow trees, swan boats, and bridge, we hit the streets for a little bit of Beacon Hill. Afterward, we ended our evening with some beautiful golden sun at the Charles River Esplanade. I am falling more and more in love with the nautical look of the Harbor and Seaport in Boston…so be on the lookout for more photos there this season!
