Kyle and Kristen celebrated their wedding day at Wentworth By the Sea Country Club in Rye, New Hampshire. The day couldn’t have gone smoother, after all the stress that lead up to it this 2020. But, as Kristen’s dad said in his heartfelt speech “the best things in life never come easy.”
Even though Kristen and Kyle both grew up in New Hampshire, and had many common interests, it took a dating app to bring them together in Boston. After dating, and growing in love, I was there to witness their proposal in January 2019. Capturing the surprise and getting to know this couple from the start of their wedding planning process has been a joy!!! In late 2019, we captured engagement photos back in Boston where they went on their first date and met. We all were excited for the wedding and for all that 2020 would bring. Then – BAM …. A pandemic hit. After lots of thought and considerations, they decided that no matter what they wanted to get married on their planned date.
With lots of rearrangements, a little stress and even some tears – they decided to move forward with their wedding and are sure glad they did! September 19, 2020 was a GORGEOUS day on the New Hampshire seacoast. In the high 60s with little wind, they said their vows under a clear blue sky. Kristen and Kyle are blessed with amazing families and awesome friends who stood by their side and helped them celebrate. For one day it felt like there was no Covid, only love!
Their ceremony and tented reception at Wentworth by the Sea Country Club was beautiful! It was enhanced by stunning florals by Beach Plum Floral Design. Every detail from the custom monogramed flag, to the live music from Silver Arrow Band, went off perfectly and created an atmosphere that will not soon be forgotten.
Congrats again to you both, and thank you for trusting me to capture this part of your love story. From proposal to wedding day, I can tell you’re both very lucky to have found one another.
