Some “bunny” is one!!! Emmy’s first year flew by and I can attest that it truly seems like yesterday I was meeting this awesome family and capturing her newborn photos (see here). I immediately loved this family of four and couldn’t wait to get to know them and see their littles grow. Emmy has changed from a tiny ball of pudge to a jabbering and toddling little one year old! She is just on the verge of walking and is all smiles. I couldn’t handle the cuteness, the bows, and her desire to just eat cake with no reservations!
Starting the session in her darling girly room was perfect, lifestyle images for your one year old are a great idea! The comfort of your own home is the perfect place to let them be their happy selves. Emmy and big brother Hank had to show off a little bit for me, and I loved every minute!
Because she was brought home on Easter last year, this little bunny theme is very sentimental. Of course her cake had to be carrot to carry the style throughout. When doing cake smashes there are always two types of babies: ones who dive right in and ones who touch and push it away. Emmy was definitely the first one! She dug right in and didn’t stop until she noticed the balloons and wanted to try to eat those, too.
I just love this little lady and it’s been an honor seeing her grow! Happy Birthday, Emmy!
