Lily and Justin knew they wanted engagement photos taken at their home and on their favorite lake! This New Hampshire couple loves the lake and spends countless hours here every summer. They live right nearby and especially enjoy casual nights with their pups on the water. I loved having them show me around their “stomping grounds”. We even did a little “trespassing” on their neighbor’s dock. Just kidding, we had permission and an audience cheering on this couple as we created some timeless memories.
Before hitting the lake, and a park for engagement photos, we captured some at their home. This was a great chance to get photos of their dogs, too! These puppies were especially excited to be in the photos and broke the ice for a comfortable and relaxed session. I always encourage couples to invite their pet in on the fun (see tips here), it brings out the best in everyone and always puts a smile on all of our faces.
One big memory I have from this night was the laid back approach to everything this couple takes. They are so “completely themselves”. They have been together a long time and are excited to make it official this summer. I look forward to capturing that day and meeting all their amazing friends and family, too.
