Client Spotlight: The Thorton’s Newborn Session

Hear what the Thorton’s have to say about their photography experience with me:

” I told Allie via Facebook messenger when I was pregnant with “Baby T #3” at six weeks. Six weeks! I hadn’t even told my parents but I needed Allie to pencil us in for a newborn photo shoot just before Christmas. I did not have newborn photos taken of my first two babies (both boys) because I hadn’t yet had the pleasure of meeting Allie. However, Allie photographed the boys together a few times over the past year and took our pregnancy announcement photos in a field releasing pink balloons!

To date, every session we had with Allie was a blast and I could not WAIT for our in-home newborn photo session after our baby girl was born! Allie was so supportive throughout the newborn photo session planning process. She borrowed props from friends (and friends of friends) and gave me great tips about what to wear to feel my best at 5 days postpartum. The session itself was unforgettable.

The boys loved having Allie follow them around and help with backdrops and headbands. And it was actually a nice break to have Allie take the baby from me to a new room for different poses! The real highlight for me (besides the “sneak peaks” and the incredible final product) was the unexpected kiss on the forehead and a “thank you” from my typically hard-to-please husband. He also had a blast during our hours with Allie and agreed that it was a great decision to have the newborn photos taken! True story: I feel blessed having Allie in our lives and cannot speak highly enough about our beloved photographer!”
