Meet Alexandra and James, or to everyone who knows and loves them – Alex and Jamie!!!! Their wedding day on Cape Cod was exactly how one would envision a dream wedding. Warm temperatures, but not too hot. A slight breeze, but not too windy. The sound of laughter was actually heard everywhere I went that day. Joy was in the air and everything came together flawlessly for this deserving and beautiful couple.
Alex’s family loves Cape Cod and has enjoyed many summers in their “Beach Shack”. It was the only place she could’ve dreamed to be married. As the girls dressed and primped there were many sweet moments of reflection and a few tears were shed as Alex became a bride!!! It was so special to have those quiet moments with her best friends and parents before all the fun began.
Jamie and his groomsmen also got ready at a beach home, and the couple met as her father walked her down the aisle. When Alex and Jamie locked eyes at the church a beautiful moment was shared between them. The celebration continued at the Wychmere Beach Resort in Harwich. This venue is absolutely breathtaking! We had access to a private beach and did portraits just as the sun was going down. To top it off – the most beautiful cotton candy sunset showed up to make this day even more amazing!
Once the reception began, heartfelt and hilarious toasts were shared before this couple danced into the night with live music by the Silver Arrow Band. The Greek dancing and amazing food created a vibrant atmosphere for a night to remember.
Congrats Alex and Jamie – I was honored to capture it all and loved getting to know you both during this amazing season of your life together. Blessings on a beautiful marriage!!!!
